Charlie Jackson

My name is Charlie Jackson. I am a qualified Osteopath from the London School of Osteopathy who graduated in 2021. I am fully registered with the General Osteopathic Council and a member of the Institute of Osteopathy.

For the last eight years I have worked at Blake End practice as a Sports Massage Therapist assisting patients with pain reduction of a wide variety and assisted local athletes with sports injury recovery. I have also worked within 2 private practices, obtaining vital clinical experience in treating many different patients and conditions.

My passion is the understanding of anatomy and functions of the human body and utilising this knowledge to help my patients enjoy their everyday life pain-free. My background in both Sports Injury and Personal training means exercise prescription is a key part of my management of patients.

Osteopathy itself is a form of hands-on healthcare including examination and treatment of the musculoskeletal system. Osteopaths take a holistic view of each individual’s symptoms and then design a tailored unique treatment plan for each patient. This may involve using techniques such as articulation, manipulation and massage to help restore normal bodily function.

An Osteopaths’ patient may include manual workers, bus drivers, children, the elderly, office workers, pregnant women, athletes from all walks of life. Patients typically seek treatment for a wide variety of conditions, including back pain, postural problems, arthritic pain and sports injuries.
